08 — Villa Landscaping · Dubai
The garden as the second half of the villa.
Villa landscaping across Dubai — design, hardscape, planting, irrigation, shade, lighting and pool integration delivered as one build.
Villa plots are handed over flat, not finished.
A new Dubai villa usually arrives with a level slab, a boundary wall and no shade strategy. An older villa arrives with tired hardscape, failing irrigation and planting that has outgrown its position.
Both need the same thing first: levels, drainage and shade resolved on paper. Everything visible is built on those three decisions.
In detail
Villa Landscaping in Dubai, scope by scope.
Planting strategy for Dubai gardens
Species are chosen for salinity, heat and wind exposure as much as for appearance, and positioned so mature size does not fight the terrace or the boundary in three years. Mature trees are sourced and craned in where the design depends on immediate structure.
Hardscape, levels and drainage
Terrace levels are set against the villa's finished floor and, where present, the pool coping. Falls, channel drains and subsurface drainage are designed before paving so summer irrigation and winter rain both leave the plot correctly.
Outdoor living: pergolas, kitchens and lighting
Shade is what makes a Dubai garden usable. Pergolas and louvred roofs are positioned against the afternoon sun, outdoor kitchens are serviced with power, water and drainage from the start, and lighting is zoned so the garden can be dim, social or fully lit.
Pool and garden integration
Where a pool is part of the scope, shell, deck, plant room and planting are sequenced as one programme. That avoids the common outcome of a finished terrace being cut open for pool services.
